How to Hear the Voice of God – Two Key Principles

Brothers and sisters of Testify God:

Hello! Now disasters are getting ever bigger. The day of the Lord has already come. We believers in the Lord are all anxiously waiting for Him to be raptured into the heavenly kingdom. The Lord Jesus said, “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. … and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut” (Matthew 25:1, 10). From these verses, we see that when the Lord comes, the foolish virgins will be locked outside on account of not preparing oil, while the wise virgins who have prepared oil will dine with Him. Only by being wise virgins can we welcome the Lord’s return. Then, in the last days, how should we prepare to be the wise virgins to welcome the Lord?

Xun’en

Hello Xun’en,

Peace to you in the Lord! You have brought up a very important question. It concerns whether we can welcome the Lord’s return in the last days and be raptured into the heavenly kingdom, and all of the brothers and sisters in the Lord pay close attention to this question. Thank the Lord for His guidance. Recently, through looking to the Lord to seek and communicating with brothers and sisters, I have gained a ray of light. Below I will talk a bit about my personal understanding. Continue reading “How to Hear the Voice of God – Two Key Principles”

The Best Way to Revive the Church

by Qiao Yue

Gospel for Today

Under the trees beside the road to the suburbs, there is a two-story house with a courtyard surrounded by the low elms. The white iron fence makes the house outstanding in the peaceful place near the hill and by the river. This is the house of Huang Shoudao. On a Sunday, Zhao Mei, Liu Zhong, and Li Tao come to visit Huang.

Huang Shoudao takes them to his study and asks his daughter, Huang Jiayin, to serve water. He guesses something from Zhao Mei’s sad face and asks her with burden, “Sister Zhao, how is the state of the brothers and sisters in your meeting place?” Continue reading “The Best Way to Revive the Church”

Don’t Await the Lord’s Revelations on Second Coming

In 1989, I believed in the Lord Jesus with my wife. At that time, I was in my 30s and willingly spent and sacrificed for the Lord. Our pastor and elder thought I was a promising young man, so they thought highly of me. Before long, I became a good preacher and often preached the gospel with the pastor here and there, contacting many church leaders. Inspiration From the Parable of the Sower in the Bible

By Xingchen

Yaqin has not believed in the Lord for very long. She likes reading the Bible very much. One day, she turned to Matthew 13:3-8 and read, “And he spoke many things to them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow; And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up: Some fell on stony places, where they had not much earth: and immediately they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth: And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them: But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundred times, some sixty times, some thirty times.” She also saw many parables in the following several verses (See Matthew 13:24-33), such as the parable of the tares, the parable of the mustard seed, the parable of the leaven, and so on. After reading these parables, she thought: “Why did the Lord Jesus always speak parables when He preached to the disciples? What was His will behind the parable of the sower?” Continue reading “Inspiration From the Parable of the Sower in the Bible”
